Hmmm has anyone out there tried SECOND LIFE?
IT's like a massive chat room but with endlessly modify posibilities - how you look, how you dress, what you hold. I used to go to the Habbo Hotel - a web based version of this, but you had to choose from limited items and styles the designers would choose - this is wiiide open.
Like the Habbo Hotel, it's free to join, but you gotta pay if you want to own land. There's not a whole lot to DO.... i guess if piracy is the killer app for ipods, flirting is the killer app for Second Life. So not so useful to a married guy like me.
Still - you might like it.

Star Wars Next Gen
Not sure what this game is... this is a "technology demo" from what looks like an upcoming "Jedi Knight" game - which i've been wondering where the heck they've been since Jedi Academy.
One blogger wrote - wouldn't the be great with the Wii??
UPDATE :::: Looks like lucasarts pulled the plug on this on a net-wide basis!! Set your bittorrent client to track them down - i want that clip, not excuses.

In wired news today.... RSS feeds are great, but not the most pretty things in the world. I'd like to see them integrated more with the PC, with Television, with Screensavers.... whatever! Anyhow. Here's some artistic, but not all that useful suggestions. And don't forget to try the TheArchies Rss feeds with these!

Where the heck have i been
OK I Know i've been away for ...> AGES i've been out on the east coast and a few other places, stories and adventures to follow. but here's something that's incredible. It's said that the Japanese and South Koreans are not inventors but take existing ideas and improve them to their superlative. That is certainly true of this breakdancing video.... unbelievable!!! |
