It's been a long time since the Russians have done cooler stuff than the US in space. But taking a page out of count Dokou's book comes this- a space ship that propels itself by solar winds, a space sailing vessel.

No mess, no hassle, no fuel to worry about.

Except of course, Space Pirates.

    They did that in Star Trek: Deep Space 9 as well. The Bajorans I think.
