AOL

Man, what's the deal with AOL?

Don't they know their place in the nerd universe? They are supposed to be that punchline to a plethera of geek jokes. Your uncle Robert's isp. The ubiquitous coaster CD's they sent out seemed to pile up and made us finally break our no-throwing-out-cd's policy in the early 90's.

But suddenly, is it just me...but....when did they stop sucking so much? Dare i speak those words??

It all began when they posted the complete Live 8 concerts in their entirety in a nice interface that never seemed to enter the buffering zone. To this they added tons of free music videos with huge pipes, some really great music (which is uncharacteristically not just big pop but names like DJ Shadow). Funny abstract articles that compare the nutritional content of different videos??

It's scary. But i'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Not when i can watch the seminole video "My Humps" again. Honestly it's the best song since Milkshake.
